J. Who?
Three propositions structure the work: that depth is an internal distance rather than a fact of the surface, that the viewer completes the piece, and that meaning resides in the relational space between object and observer — a fourth, that identity is a condition of perception rather than a fixed state, emerged from the Cubist Kinetic series. Margulis situates this within the lineage of Latin American kinetic and geometric abstraction (Cruz-Diez, Soto, Otero, Gego), while extending it into more explicitly conceptual and linguistic territory.
His work has been exhibited across galleries and fairs in North America, Europe, South America, and Asia, including Art Basel Week, SP-Arte, Moderne Art Fair Paris, Abu Dhabi Art, and fairs in Seoul, and was the subject of his first museum presentation and acquisition at the Erarta Museum in St. Petersburg. His gallery relationships span cities in Europe, Asia, Latin America, and the United States.
